Qinghai Zhuochen Agricultural Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd. was established in March 2016 with a registered capital of 60 million yuan. It is an agricultural science and technology company that mainly integrates agricultural science and technology research and development, technical services; crop planting, product processing, logistics, marketing and foreign import and export trade. The company is committed to the research and development of rare edible fungi unique to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, as well as the standardized research on the domestication, isolation, expansion and planting technology of wild strains. In 2016, on the basis of mature technology, it conducted the first large-scale trial planting of plateau morels and achieved a yield of 400 kilograms per mu. It was hailed by the domestic and foreign edible fungi industry as having created "the world miracle of morels". In March 2019, a total of 400 acres of standardized cultivation area of plateau morels have been completed, and the yield per mu can reach more than 450 kilograms. Due to the special climate and geographical conditions of the plateau, the morels produced are of good quality, with thick flesh, neat and beautiful plant shape, and the nutrition has been tested by scientific research institutes. The ingredients are richer (the total amino acid content is 18.91%, which is much higher than the 8%-9% of other producing areas, and it is rich in linoleic acid, selenium, vitamins B1 and B2 and other ingredients that are beneficial to the human body), which is obviously different from the morels produced in other provinces. The company cooperates with Zhejiang University, Qinghai Tianhu Plateau Mushrooms Research Institute and many other scientific research institutes inside and outside the province, and established a plateau rare edible fungi technology center in 2018.
