JINAN QINGQI MOTORCYCLE CO., LTD

Founded in 1956, Jinan Qingqi was the birthplace of China's first civilian motorcycle. It started manufacturing Qingqi motorcycles in 1964 and is the earliest motorcycle manufacturer in China.In the 1980s, alone with the beginning of reform and development, Jinan Qingqi began it's rapid development in the industrial of motorcycle through the introduction and absorption of new technology, and joint venture cooperation. In 1985, Qingqi introduced the technology of Suzuki Japan and produced the first scooter in China. In 1996, the joint venture company—Jinan Qingqi Suzuki Motorcycle Co., Ltd. was established. Since 1996, the production amount had been among the best in the motorcycle industry of China for three years. In 1999, “Qingqi” was awarded Famous Brand as the first batch in the motorcycle industry of China.In 2007, Jinan Qingqi joined China South Industries Group and became its wholly-owned subsidiary. Jinan Qingqi began a strategic adjustment of the products structure, and shifted it's main product from Red sea products to Blue sea products to meet the needs of growing demand in sports, leisure and entertainment in the motorcycle industry. In 2008, Jinan Qingqi Peugeot Motorcycle Co., Ltd., a joint venture company with Peugeot France, was officially put into production. Qingqi Peugeot, with registered capital 13.72 million CNY and 50% shareholders for each party, covers an area of 50,000 square meters and a construction area of 29,600 square meters. In August of 2016, Jinan Qingqi KR Motors Co., Ltd., a joint venture with KR motors from the South Korea, was formally established, with a registered capital of 230 million CNY, 50% shareholder for each party, covers an area of 83,000 square meters and construction area of 47000 square meters.Now, Jinan Qingqi has 5 core enterprises, Qingqi KR, Qingqi Peugeot, Jiangmen Qingqi, Qingqi Foreign Trade and Qingqi Engine. The company has total assets of 731 million CNY, with capacity of development and design and a professional manufacturing system for full lines of motorcycles, welding, painting, engine and vehicle inspection and other key motorcycle manufacturing and inspection processes. The product lines cover 50cc to large displacement 650cc of retro, cruise, sports, off-road and scooter. And with 1 million manufacturing capacity for both motorcycles and engines.
